2023 Postage Increase

The USPS has announced mailing services price changes to take effect on July 9, 2023.

The proposed changes include:
  • Letters (1 ounce): increased to 66¢ from 63¢
  • Letters (metered 1 ounce): increased to 63¢ from 60¢
  • Domestic postcards: increased to 51¢ from 48¢
  • International postcards: increased to $1.50 from $1.45
  • International letters (1 ounce): increased to $1.50 from $1.45
  • ​The single-piece letter and flat additional-ounce price remains unchanged at 24 cents.
The Postal Service governors have approved these postage price updates, and there is a plan to update more Special Service products as well.  Find out more at USPS's News Release from April 10, 2023.

USPS to expand Sunday delivery in most major cities beginning November 24

The U.S. Postal Service is preparing for a busy holiday season.

They estimate more than 800 million packages will be delivered between Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day.

That's about 20 million packages a day.

To make sure that people are getting their items on time, USPS is going to expand its Sunday deliveries in most major cities starting on November 24.

For an extra fee, carriers will even deliver on Christmas Day.
